Description
Retreat is a solitude for the purpose of knowing yourself.
This course is suitable for beginner practitioners who are just planning to go on their first retreat, as well as for those who have already taken retreats.
Each lesson consists of a theoretical part, Hatha Yoga practice and meditation practice.
On the course you will learn:
- how to build a meditative position of the body;
- how to prepare for the retreat (nutrition, daily routine, cleansing);
- how to liberate the body and strengthen it in order to hold a meditative position for a long time;
- what is the mind and how to work with it;
- how to set up the mind, let’s analyze the analytical meditations that need to be worked out.
At hatha yoga, each lesson will be aimed at deepening meditative asanas:
- body balancing;
- liberation of the pelvis;
- opening of the chest and shoulder;
- working on apana vayu;
- relieving tension from the back;
- a balanced complex for preparing for a retreat.
In meditative practice, we will learn to overcome the limitations of our mind, we will analyze the following techniques:
- anapanasati hinayana for calming the flow of thoughts;
- nadi shodhana pranayama for cleansing energy channels;
- chandra and surya bhedana to control the inner and outer activity of the mind;
- meditation on the mind, knowledge of the nature of the mind;
- meditation with visualization;
- step-by-step meditation with deepening.
